Professionals from #PreventGBV’s coordinating organisation Fundación Diagrama attended an event organized by the European Commission on September 6 in Brussels (Belgium) which served to present the projects that are being carried out within the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV). #PreventGBV, as part of this programme, aims to improve the digital skills of young people in conflict with the law to identify, prevent and react to gender-based cyberviolence, as well as to develop knowledge and skills on the prevention of this cyberviolence among professionals who work with these young people in juvenile justice systems.
During this event, the #PreventGBV professionals received training on the specific characteristics of the CERV Programme regarding the management and justification of activities, as well as the European values that this programme wants to transmit, among which is gender equality. Likewise, those who attended had the opportunity to talk with officials from the European Commission who are in charge of supervising their project’s execution, as well as with representatives from other organizations that also coordinate CERV projects.
